How to Make Our Chai Latte Teas

Preparation Instructions for a Hot Chai Latte

Please use 2 cups of milk per 1 teabag of chai latte tea mix. We recommend dairy milk for

the best flavour experience; oat milk is our recommended dairy-free alternative. Do not

prepare with water.

Instructions for brewing

1. Pour 2 cups cold milk into a small, handled saucepan and warm for 2 mins on

medium-low heat (if using room temperature milk, skip this milk warming step).

2. Open your chai latte teabag by untying the string at the side and empty its

contents into the milk in the saucepan.

3. Gently simmer over low heat for 7 minutes, or longer depending on the desired

strength. Do not bring to a rolling boil.

4. Stir occasionally to prevent a milk film from forming.

5. When the milk is infused with the tea mix and fragrant, turn off the heat.

6. Remove the saucepan by the handle and pour your tea through a strainer into your

favourite mug

7. Sweeten to taste with maple syrup or honey and enjoy warm. We recommend maple syrup for the best flavour.

Boutique Eatery Brewing Tips: After straining your chai latte, you may notice a few fine spice particles. These naturally come from the wholesome spices in our blend. If you prefer a smoother cup, simply strain your latte a second time.
